Magic Carpet® Spirea is one of the most colorful shrubs available for Wisconsin landscapes, offering season-long foliage interest and vibrant summer blooms. New growth emerges in brilliant shades of red and orange before maturing into bright golden-yellow foliage. During summer, clusters of deep pink flowers cover the shrub, attracting butterflies and pollinators. Its compact growth habit and constantly changing color make it an excellent choice for foundation plantings, landscape borders, mass plantings, and colorful garden accents.
Height (2–3 ft.) Reaches a mature height of approximately 2 to 3 feet with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. Thrives in full sun where foliage develops its brightest colors. Produces vibrant pink blooms during summer and offers changing foliage colors from spring through fall. Excellent for borders, foundation plantings, edging, and colorful landscape displays.
