Birchleaf Spirea is a compact, hardy flowering shrub admired for its crisp white spring blooms, attractive dark green foliage, and brilliant fall color. In late spring, clusters of white flowers cover the shrub, attracting butterflies and pollinators to the landscape. As autumn arrives, the foliage transforms into stunning shades of red, orange, and purple, providing exceptional multi-season interest. Its naturally rounded growth habit and rugged Wisconsin hardiness make it an excellent choice for foundation plantings, borders, native gardens, and low-maintenance landscapes.

Height (2–4 ft.) Reaches a mature height of approximately 2 to 4 feet with a spread of 3 to 5 feet. Thrives in full sun to partial shade and adapts to a wide range of soil conditions. Produces clusters of white flowers in spring and develops outstanding red-purple fall foliage. Excellent for foundation plantings, borders, pollinator gardens, and mass plantings.
