Spicy Devil® Ninebark is a compact ornamental shrub that delivers bold color and strong landscape performance in a smaller package. Its rich burgundy foliage emerges with vibrant red tones before maturing into deep purple-red leaves that provide season-long contrast. In late spring, clusters of soft pink-white flowers appear, attracting butterflies and pollinators. Its compact growth habit makes it perfect for foundation plantings, landscape borders, and smaller garden spaces throughout Wisconsin.
Height (3–4 ft.) Reaches a mature height of approximately 3 to 4 feet with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. Thrives in full sun for the best foliage color but tolerates partial shade. Produces pink-white flower clusters in spring and maintains rich burgundy foliage throughout the growing season. Excellent for foundation plantings, borders, mass plantings, and landscape accents.
