Compact Cranberrybush
Viburnum trilobum ‘Compactum’
Compact Cranberrybush is a smaller, more compact version of the classic American Cranberrybush, offering beautiful white spring blooms, attractive green foliage, brilliant red fall color, and bright red berries that persist into winter. Its tidy growth habit makes it an excellent choice for foundation plantings, borders, smaller landscapes, and wildlife-friendly gardens throughout Wisconsin. Birds and pollinators are highly attracted to its flowers and berries, adding seasonal life and color to the landscape.
Height (5–6 ft.) Reaches a mature height of approximately 5 to 6 feet with a spread of 5 to 6 feet. Thrives in full sun to partial shade and adapts well to a variety of soil conditions. Produces white spring blooms followed by bright red berries and vibrant fall foliage. Compact growth habit makes it ideal for smaller landscape spaces and foundation plantings.
