Plant Description

Autumn Blaze® Maple is a highly popular hybrid of silver and red maple, valued for its rapid growth, strong ascending branch habit, and dependable performance. Once established, it shows good drought tolerance and adapts well to a wide range of soil conditions. Rich green, deeply lobed foliage provides a full summer canopy before turning brilliant orange-red in fall. Selected for both beauty and durability, this tree was named 1997 Iowa Tree of the Year and 2004 Urban Tree of the Year by the Society of Municipal Arborists. Grown on its own roots for long-term strength and stability.
