Lilac-Japanese Tree
Japanese Tree Lilac | Syringa reticulata

Plant Description
This handsome small specimen tree or large shrub produces creamy white flowers held in large, showy panicles in early to mid-summer. Blooming in June and July, it offers reliable seasonal interest when many other flowering trees have finished. Deep green foliage provides a clean backdrop for the blooms, and plants naturally develop as clumps with three or more stems. Recognized for its landscape value, this tree was named 2002 Iowa Tree of the Year.
